Lisa Shedden

Ms. Shedden, joined Baird Financial Group after retiring from the Department of Justice, United States Attorney’s Office after a 37 year career.  Ms. Shedden directed the Victim-Witness Unit of the Dallas U.S. Attorney’s Office where she assisted victims and witnesses of federal crime.  During her tenure with the Department of Justice Ms. Shedden traveled extensively mentoring new Victim-Witness Coordinators in other U.S. Attorney’s Offices.  Ms. Shedden also traveled to other countries such as Colombia, El Salvador, Mexico to assist with establishing new victim assistance programs and training law enforcement officers, prosecutors and judges on crime victim rights.

In September 2002 Ms. Shedden received the Director’s Award for Excellence for her work assisting victims immediately following the 9/11 terrorist attack on the World Trade Center in New York City.  Ms. Shedden’s responsibilities at Baird Financial Group include assisting clients with customer service issues, facilitating contact with  insurance carriers and maintaining the client database.  Ms. Shedden enjoys traveling with her husband, quilting and jogging with her pups.
